This Cultus was entered in Pikes Peak Auto Hill Climb, a motor sports event held every spring on the Pikes Peak Highway, located outside Colorado Spring, in the U. S.
Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak
Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima, driving his customized Cultus, entered the Pikes Peak Auto Hill Climb every year between 1989 and 1994, winning the unlimited division in '92 and '93 and coming in 2nd place overall in '93. He entered again in '94, switching from his Cultus to an Escudo-based racer, and came in overall 1st place in 1995 with a twin-engine Escudo, which in '96 evolved into a twin-V6 engine model.
Suzuki SX4 Pikes Peak
Well this is the car that has kept me drunk for years. Have a crush on the model, white color, trendy, small but powerful, a rally car with a 3.071 cc Twin Turbo V6 engine producing 897 Horsepower with a weight of only 1,090 kg, requires a giant spoiler to keep the car from taking-off. I ever day-dreaming on a white Honda BeAT "Karbu" when I go on duty from Lahat to a neighboring city using this car, it will take me less than an hour or maybe only 11 minutes 58 sec (as Tajima 2011's PPIHC World Record ) to reach the location in the hinterland of Empat Lawang, Tebing Tinggi.
